Question by Candice: What will happen when my wheel bearings give out?
Apparently they need to be replaced but I can’t afford it!
uh oh.. frig..i’ve prolly put 25,000k on the car since they told me they were worn out..

The front wheels will fall off; ten you’ll be in deep doo doo. You can’t afford NOT to fix it if you’re going to drive the car. They’ll go without warning.

The wheels & tires have a tough time spinning. A complete wheel bearing failure will cause the affected wheel to completely lock up while driving which will cause you to lose control of the car.
one of two things….
1- wheels will go left when you are going right… and fall off
2- they will seize up and cause your front wheels to lock up. enough heat can be generated to actually heat them up enough to expand and not release ever again… then it gets REALLY expensive. either do it now or dont drive the car… for safety’s sake.
i don,t want to scare you but if they go clean out it can throw you off the road and maybe kill you. the wheel bearings is what helps to hold your car up.
