Timken Bearings

Question by Martin D: I have a 1999 Audi A4 that makes a noise similar to what a bad wheel bearing makes what could be making it?
The wheel bearings have been checked and they are all good.
it is an automatic so no clutch. have also had the fluids in the differentials checked.

Checked brake pad thickness lately? The pads have a wear indicator which rubs the rotor when the pads are down to the replace point. Sometimes those sound a bit like a wheel bearing.

Question by : If I could get ahold of steel ball bearings .68 inches in diameter, could I fire them from my paintball gun?
I have a tippmann a-5 w/a flatline barrel, collapsable stock, and response trigger. I’m just curious, maybe I could have some fun with that. Good burglar repelent, but then so is my .12 gauge, .20 gauge double barrel, .450 lever action, and my .357 magnum. hee hee hee.

You could do that , with a strong enough painball gun. But it will hurt just like a slug ball in a shot gun.
