Low-Magnetic Permeability LM Guide Model HSR-M3
THK has been expanding its lineup of LM Guide products for special environments through various iterations of the tried-and-true Model HSR. With an increased maximum operating temperature of 150°C, the Model HSR-M1 is ideal for use in high-temperature applications, while the highly corrosion-resistant stainless-steel material of the Model HSR-M2 gives it superb corrosion resistance in turn. And now, the Model HSR-M3 has been added to the product family.
The Model HSR-M3 is an LM Guide with low magnetic permeability that resists the effects of magnetic fields. With an LM rail and LM block made of material with low magnetic permeability, it is capable of achieving maximum performance even when exposed to magnetic fields, making such factors a non-issue during design. Unaffected by the kind of strong magnetic fields generated by MRI machines and similar testing equipment, the Model HSR-M3 provides smooth motion even in these applications.
